Guys, guys, guys!
I don’t have any exciting freelancing news, but I do have an announcement! I got a job working full-time for Members 1st Federal Credit Union! I’m not sure how much I can say about my job, but it does mean I’ll be less active on socials compared to before. You’ll mostly see me in the evenings or in the really early morning before my commute. I’m not disappearing for good, I am still accepting commissions, it’s just going to be a little more quiet the majority of the day. Thank you all for your continued support and hopefully I’ll have something exciting to share soon!

Okay, this is really soon after my last post but I asked it on my social media and just had to get feedback here too. What are your thoughts on vampires and, specifically, their fangs?
As you’ve probably seen from my excerpts page, I’m working on a vampire story called Vampyres Across Time. I’m very excited for it and have put a lot of research into it and that research continues. This includes how I want to portray my vampires.
So, what this means is I’m getting scientific. I don’t want people getting confused as to how my vampires drink blood or anything like that, so I want to know. Biologists, cryptozoologists, and fellow weirdos, how would vampire fangs work for you?
On Instagram, my brother had a very good idea, but I want to collect more to decide where I want to take it. Right now I’m liking his because it’s very similar to the vampire bat, named due to their diet of blood. So take that as you will, look them up because they’re awesome little creatures, and let me know what you think in the comments!

For real though, thank you guys for the support and love I’ve gotten thus far! It means the world to me whenever I get a new follower, a new like, or a new comment. It means I’m being seen and, as a freelance writer, that is SO important. I don’t want to spam people with ads because honestly, who really follows/listens to those anymore? So! I haven’t posted an update in a while; the full-time job search has been rough. I am happy to have remained active on social media though, so if you haven’t gone to see me on social media I highly recommend!

Update on the linktree guys! I am now offering mini commissions, which can be directly paid through the linktree via PayPal! These are much smaller than my commission packages but that comes with the bonus of being cheaper overall. So! I now have a Linktree in my social bios and I posted something on Archive of Our Own! It’s called Mundane Magick and follows our as-of-now unnamed protagonist who steals back artifacts for a living. There is a reason I spell Magick that way in the title and spell it magic in the first chapter. I differentiate old and new magic with the “k,” the more letters the older it is basically. I’m really excited for people to read it and let me know what they think! I’ve still got the epic I’m working on, Vampyres Across Time (also a purpose with the “y” instead of “i,” similar reasoning) but since I want that to go to print and it is a longer work, that will take much longer! I’ll continue to post periodic updates/excerpts on it as little teasers, as well as some of my other works, but go ahead and give Mundane Magick a read! I look forward to reading your comments!
